ABOUT US
Born out of the COVID pandemic in 2020, Compost Cowboys rode up from the dust to sit tall in the saddle, overlooking the Atlanta metro and beyond. In this City in the Forest, folks were searching for a better way to keep their food scraps and organics from being wasted and buried. That’s where we saddled up, to round up those precious materials–turning them into something new.
With the support of the good people of Atlanta, who pitched in their gold coins and silver dollars, we built an outfit dedicated to steering resources away from the waste stream and back toward a healthier planet. We’ve been riding strong ever since, and we don’t plan on slowing down. Our sights are set on the horizon—ready to spread this mission as far as the trail will take us.
